God's Wrath, Not Ours

Peter names suffering wrongfully while doing right as charis — gracious before God, carrying divine approval. Read that again. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego model the theological clarity available inside maximum institutional injustice: naming God's capacity without promising the outcome, and walking into the furnace with integrity. God's preference for justice over religious performance is explicit in Proverbs.
